THE CAST

Jennifer Connelly as Sarah Williams.
Brian Henson as Hoggle.
David Barclay as Sir Didymus.

PLOT SYNOPSIS : The main character is a girl called Sarah Williams and she is practicing for a school play by saying her lines, but it starts raining and she has to go home.
Then, her Mum and Dad say that they are going away for the night and take good care of the baby called Toby. So she goes to sleep, but she noticed one of her teddy bears was missing and when she went into Toby's room she found: 1.Toby was crying 2. Her missing teddy bear, Lancelot, was in the room. She then muttered the magic words, "I wish the Goblins would take you away," and turned off the light, but then she couldn't hear Toby so she went back and saw that Toby was not in his bed.
Then as owl burst open a window and she saw the owl turn into a human. The human was actually the goblin king that she had heard of in her lines for the play and the goblin king said, "You will have to solve my Labyrinth to get your baby brother back". She gets through the maze and she gets some new friends and on the way she also conquered: the Stone Corridor, the Stone Maze, the Oubliette, the Underground Passages, the Hedge Maze, the Fiery Forest, the Bog Of Eternal Stench, and The Enchanted Forest.
On the last encounter she mutters the magic words that banish the king, "Give me the child. Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child that you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom as great. You have no power over me."
Then, everything was normal again and her friends that she met in the Labyrinth including Hoggle, Ludo, and Sir Didymus were gone, but when she looked in the mirror she saw them and they all had a party in her real house.
WHAT I LIKED: I liked that it is goofy and that Sarah never gave up. Also they had good puppets and all the characters are puppets except for the five people in it.
WHAT I DISLIKED: I disliked the Goblin King because he was throwing the baby around and he's creepy.
STARS OUT OF TEN: I give 8.5/10 stars
I love this movie son, even though I agree David Bowie is a bit creepy. Jennifer Connelly is/was my favorite actress when I saw this movie - and is the same age as me - so it gets/got the high five from me.
